Halkett joined ManyPets in June 2019 as the MGA pet insurer’s chief commercial officer when the business was called Bought by Many.

It follows the firm rebranding as ManyPets last month, bringing the business in line with the rest of the group and expanding into Sweden and the US.

Previously, Halkett worked as the managing director of insurance product at insurtech buzzmove for almost two years. The Insurtech’s proposition allowed users to book removal firms and subsequently insure the move.

Prior to this, Halkett worked at telematics firm InsuretheBox for more than seven years.

InsuretheBox was founded by Mike Brockman in 2009, before it was sold to Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Europe (ANDIE) in January 2018.

Brockman is now founder and chief executive of telematics firm, ThingCo.
