’We are dedicated to helping every UK broker to become a cyber specialist,’ says cyber development leader

Specialist insurance provider CFC has expanded its UK cyber development team.

Joe Tracey has been promoted to the newly created role of cyber development leader for the UK and European Union (EU).

Tracey will be responsible for leading the growth and strategy of CFC’s cyber development in the UK and Ireland.

He joined CFC two years ago as a cyber development manager, a role which saw him involved in driving the firm’s growth in the UK cyber market.

Jack Brosnan has also joined CFC as part of the expansion in the role of cyber development manager for the UK and EU and will support Tracey.

Brosnan has several years of experience as a cyber security specialist, having most recently worked for cyber risk management firm Kynd in a business development role.

Lindsey Nelson, cyber development leader at CFC, said: “The appointments of Joe and Jack will help us to deliver even more support to UK brokers over the months and years ahead.”

In a post on LinkedIn from this week (5 August 2024), Nelson noted that she was “very proud” of the expansion of the UK cyber development team.

Helping UK brokers

Referring to the team’s mission, Nelson continued: “We are dedicated to helping every UK broker to become a cyber specialist and so I am both delighted and proud to announce this expansion of our UK focused cyber development team.

“We are committed to equipping our broker partners with the expertise and skills they need to be able to educate their clients on cyber threats and the critical value of cyber insurance.”
