’I’m looking forward to working closely with our Irish broker partners,’ says new appointee
Specialist insurance provider CFC has expanded its distribution team in Ireland as it looks to bolster its relationship with brokers.
In a statement released yesterday (27 September 2023), CFC said it had been growing its broker relationships in the region for the last 20 years.
In a bid to further grow its links with broker partners, the firm has created a new Irish-based distribution manager role that will be filled by Clair Healy.
Healy, who joined CFC in 2015, will be responsible for growing and managing relationships with brokers across the Island.
“Ireland is a global hub for life sciences, medical devices, fintech and IT companies to name but a few,” she said.
“These emerging high growth sectors need to align with insurance markets who understand their different needs and proactively seek to cover the exposures they face, not just today but tomorrow. That’s what CFC is all about.”
Networking
Healy joined CFC as a cyber, technology and media underwriter before becoming part of the distribution team in London in 2020.

In her new role, she will be based in Limerick.
She will also be hosting the CFC stand at Meet the Market Day in Dublin on 5 October 2023.
“I’m looking forward to working closely with our Irish broker partners to further develop our solutions for their clients,” Healy added.
“Meet the Market is a valuable networking opportunity and hopefully I’ll get the chance to see a lot of familiar faces as well as connect with many new potential partners.”
