Brown and Brown Europe has revealed that Duncan Carter will step down from his position as chief executive of its UK retail business.
Carter joined the business back in 2021, when it was known as Global Risk Partners, and reported into group chief executive Mike Bruce.
In a statement sent to Insurance Times, a Brown and Brown spokesperson said that Carter had “left the retail business as it nears the end of the latest stage of its transformation”.
They added that details of the leadership structure in retail for “the next phase” will be announced in the next few weeks.
“Duncan has left with our best wishes for the future,” the spokesperson said.
