’This collaboration enables us to enhance our offering, extend our reach and build on the strong foundations we’ve developed in our long history,’ says chairman
Aon has completed its acquisition of UK-based broker Griffiths and Armour.
The transaction, which was first announced in November 2024, officially went through on 1 January 2025.
As part of the deal, the acquired firm, which specialises in professional indemnity insurance, will now trade as Griffiths and Armour, an Aon company.
The broker, which employs around 200 staff across Liverpool, Manchester, Dublin and London, will also use Aon’s propositions to help enhance its offering.
Matt Donnelly, chairman at Griffiths and Armour, said: “This collaboration enables us to enhance our offering, extend our reach and build on the strong foundations we’ve developed in our long history, creating new opportunities as we continue to innovate and lead in a rapidly changing industry.”
