‘Our primary focus has been on creating a scalable, unified infrastructure that supports rapid future development,’ says chief executive
Market intelligence and analytics firm Broker Insights plans to roll out an updated version of its insurance decision intelligence platform, called Vision, to its insurer and broker partners over the coming months.
Broker Insights first launched the Vision platform in 2018 to empower ”brokers of all sizes to use powerful data to explore, simulate, act and monitor placement strategy”, the firm said. At this time, Vision managed around £20m in gross written premium (GWP) – compared to £6bn today.
Currently undergoing its fourth major iteration – described by Broker Insights as a “pivotal evolution” – the organisation explained that Vision’s revamped software will contain new features and has been fully re-architectured to create a more “scalable, efficient and futureproofed platform”.
First access for insurers
Insurers and MGAs will get first access to the new and improved Vision platform via the company’s roll out plan over the next few months. Broker Insights hopes the technology update will provide these partners with a more intuitive user experience, including new linked policy views.
Brokers will gain access to the new platform in the subsequent phase of the roll out.

Broker Insights chief executive Peter Scott said: “This evolution marks a foundational shift in how insurers and brokers engage with their data, reinforcing our commitment to empowering our partners with the tools they need to succeed in an evolving market.
“Customer feedback from the UK, Europe and the US has shaped our development road map, laying the foundation for future products and the next generation of innovation, including enhanced artificial intelligence driven capabilities.
“The goal wasn’t a complete overhaul of the user interface, but rather to refine the look and feel and make the experience more intuitive.
“Our primary focus has been on creating a scalable, unified infrastructure that supports rapid future development and adapts to the evolving needs of our partners and the market, providing a solid foundation for long-term growth.
“And this is just the beginning – our road map includes groundbreaking new capabilities that we’ll be unveiling soon.”
