’We have worked closely with the club to create an insurance product that meets their club member’s needs,’ says partnerships director

Kingfisher’s classic vehicle brand Peter James Insurance has partnered with the Ariel Owners Motorcycle Club to provide a new scheme for its members.

Formed at the Ace Café in 1951, the club aims to promote and encourage interest in the Ariel marque through various events during the year.

It also provides support for the continued running and maintenance of the machines with a stock of spares.

The new scheme for the club has been designed with input from management and members.

Dave Youngs, partnerships director at Peter James, said: “Peter James has been at the heart of the historic motorcycle movement throughout our history, so it is fantastic to be able to partner with the Ariel Owners Motorcycle Club.

“We have worked closely with the club to create an insurance product that meets their club member’s needs and protects these iconic British bikes for future enjoyment.”

Features

Peter James has announced several partnerships in 2024, including with Kettle Club, MG Octagon Car Club, Midget and Sprite Club, 2CVGB and the Morgan Sports Car Club.

The new scheme for Ariel has a range of features, including member to member cover, free agreed value, free salvage retention, UK and European breakdown cover, helmet and leathers cover, a self-repair option and legal expenses cover.

Mike Morgan, chairman of Ariel Owners Motorcycle Club, said: “We’re excited to launch Ariel Owners Motorcycle Club Insurance with Peter James.

“The benefits it includes brings more value to our club membership and supports our aim of the continued enjoyment of Ariels.”
