The rejuvenated deal aims to help independent regional broker members grow in the SME and mid-market arena

Bravo Group, part of Ardonagh Advisory, has partnered with Aviva across both of its networks.

The group currently houses two networks of independent regional brokers in the UK – Broker Network and Compass.

In addition to strengthening its insurer panel, the partnership aims to help independent regional broker members grow in the SME and mid-market arena.

Aviva previously worked with Broker Network but withdrew business in 2012 after Towergate pulled the plug on its deal with the insurer.

Growth opportunities

Scott Bennett, managing director at Bravo Networks, said: “We are building on our excellent relationship with Aviva across Compass Network and are delighted to extend this across to Broker Network.

“Aviva are a strong brand with a solid standing in the industry. We are pleased to partner with Aviva and offer our ever-increasing members more exciting opportunities to accelerate their growth in a profitable way.”

Aviva’s chief distribution officer Gareth Hemming added: “Aviva has a long history working with, supporting and championing independent regional brokers and we continue to invest in our regional broking channel.

“Given this focus, and our existing relationship with Compass, it was a natural move for us to expand into a strategic partnership with Bravo Networks, the UK’s largest network of independent regional brokers.

“We believe this extended relationship will support our growth ambition in the coming year.”

Aviva has worked with Compass since its inception on 2 January 2013 with the aim of providing members with enhanced connections and new trading opportunities. The network then went on to join the Ardonagh Group in 2020.
