The insurtech’s co-founder and chief executive says the name change shows where the firm’s ’heart is’
Insurtech Bought by Many has rebranded to ManyPets, bringing its UK business in line with the group’s overall global brand.
The insurtech said the rebrand represents a significant stage in the firm’s journey, helping to mark its transition into pet health and wellness combined with its insurance offering.
In 2019, ManyPets was the first insurance provider in the UK to offer customers free access to its FirstVet app, which enables customers to have video calls 24/7 directly with vets.
Meanwhile, in 2021, the firm acquired flea, worm and tick treatment delivery subscription service, VetBox, which has shipped more than 250,000 boxes to customers since March 2020.

Steven Mendel, ManyPets’ chief executive and co-founder, said: “Changing to ManyPets shows where our heart is and where we’re headed as a pet health and wellness business.
”We’re still the same trustworthy brand and service run by the same team, so pet parents will get the same great service no matter where they are.
“It’s more important than ever for us to show our commitment to pet owners by giving them access to convenient solutions to look after their furry friend’s health and wellness.”
This follows Bought by Many rebranding to ManyPets in Sweden in November 2020.
