Chief underwriting officer says new appointee’s leadership will be ’invaluable’
Axis Capital has appointed Rebecca O’Kill as its new chief data and analytics officer.
In a statement released earlier this week (17 May 2023), the insurance and reinsurance solutions provider said O’Kill will drive global data strategy and governance across the company from its London office.
She will also oversee the company’s analytics operating model.
The role will see her report to Axis chief underwriting officer Dan Draper.
He said: “Her leadership and perspective will be invaluable as we continue to enhance our usage of data and analytics to empower our team and further strengthen the speed and service that we provide to our brokers and customers.”
‘Proven leader’
O’Kill joined Axis after spending 16 years with Beazley, where she held a series of leadership roles including interim chief data officer and head of actuarial analytics.
