’Cyber remains a top concern amongst our clients and that’s why we’re expanding our UK cyber team,’ says head
Axa XL has expanded its UK cyber team with a range of appointments across its underwriting and claims operations.
The latest additions include Daniel Garrett, Dan Lander, Adelaide Fragiacomo, Fred Kelleher, John Wild and Chloe Hargreaves.
The move means that the cyber arm now has eight underwriters and two claims adjusters.
Vanessa Leemans, head of cyber for the UK and Lloyd’s, said: “As businesses are increasingly reliant upon digital platforms and cloud services, they’re becoming more vulnerable to cyber exploitation. It’s against this backdrop that we’re seeing growth in the global cyber insurance market.
“Cyber remains a top concern amongst our clients and that’s why we’re expanding our UK cyber team.”

Kelleher, who previously worked at Axa XL as a merger and acquisition (M&A) underwriter, has also taken up the same role as Fragiacomo, as has former K&R underwriter Wild.
Finally, Hargreaves joins as a cyber claims adjuster from Axa XL’s graduate scheme. She will work with Joseph Putnam, senior cyber claims adjuster, who joined the London team in 2023.
Leemans said: ”In the London market, there is growth potential as we partner with London brokers and our large corporate clients globally with revenues exceeding $500m (£347m).
