Aviva snaps up RSA chief financial officer to help ‘accelerate’ growth

Aviva has appointed Charlotte Jones as chief financial officer (CFO) and executive director, effective from 5 September 2022.

Jones joins from RSA Insurance, where she most recently served as CFO and interim chief executive of its UK and international business.

Prior to joining RSA, she worked as CFO at Jupiter Fund Management, where she was a member of the board and executive committee, with responsibility for finance and corporate strategy.

Jones also served as head of group finance at Credit Suisse Group and deputy group CFO at Deutsche Bank Group. She started her career at Ernst and Young (EY) in August 1990.

Group chief executive Amanda Blanc said: “This is a really excellent appointment for Aviva.
