’I’m excited to join such a progressive organisation,’ says new appointee

(Re)insurance group Aventum has appointed Jeff Uden as its new head of learning and development.

In his new role, Uden will work with the HR team to bolster the firm’s talent strategy.

This involves appraisals and engagement, growth and development, culture and performance, training academy and apprenticeships.

“I’m excited to join such a progressive organisation, fuelled by a passion to empower everyone to reach their full potential and exceed expectations,” Uden said.

”I am deeply committed to learning and development and people-driven success and cannot wait to play my role in ensuring everyone at Aventum can thrive and make meaningful contributions to the group’s collective success.”

Expertise

Uden will bring more than 23 years’ HR expertise to the role.

He joins Aventum from MS Amlin, where he was senior talent and development manager.

Prior to that, he was head of talent at Iceland and held strategic HR roles at Morrisons and Argos.

David Bearman, chief executive of Aventum, said: “We’ve experienced tremendous growth over the past decade. We owe this to the incredible efforts of our people.

”Jeff’s appointment further underpins our desire to continually invest in their success.

”He will oversee the development of our learning programs aimed at empowering our people to reach their full potential and building a culture of growth and high-performance where anything is possible.”
