The news follows the broker announcing its completion of a West Midlands broker last week
Aston Lark has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Highworth Insurance Limited.
It makes it the brokers third acquisition this year and it is part of the firm’s goal to expand in the North.
Peter Blanc, chief executive at Aston lark said that going forward he was excited about the opportunity to work closely with the Highworth team as well as its directors – Peter Leppington and Toby Green.
“As a specialist provider of large volumes of non-standard and mid-high value household policies, Highworth will complement the existing private client division within the Aston Lark group. We also see an opportunity to learn from the digital experience of the Highworth team whilst we support their plans to continue their rapid growth of recent years,” Blanc added.
It follows Aston Lark completing its acquisition of Ingram Hawkins and Nock Limited (IHN) last week.
Established in 2012, Highworth is a specialist household insurance broker which caters to non-standard and mid-net worth risks.
It places over £10m of gross premium annually and employs over 40 staff based in Poole, Dorset.
Highworth is provides independent advice to clients who have specialist home insurance requirements.
It works with a panel of insurers to deliver new business conversion and maintain renewal retention.
