Ardonagh Advisory has acquired Westfield Brokers in what is set to be its last acquisition of 2023, a statement released today (14 December 2023) said.
Based in Horsham, Westfield Brokers, which trades under the name of Westfield Insurance, is an independent commercial broker that offers a range of general insurance products, including, fleet, liability and contractors.
Ardonagh Advisory said acquiring the firm was a ”final flourish to a positive year of growth for the group”.
M&A director Joe Conway said: “Westfield Insurance is a vibrant business that provides an outstanding service to clients thanks to its team of knowledgeable experts.
“The news that this business is set to join us really is the final flourish in what has been a remarkable year for Ardonagh Advisory.”

Ardonagh Advisory has acquired several firms this year, including Stanhope Cooper, Renovation Underwriting, Pace Ward, PB Curran and most recently Riskstop Group.

Its latest deal will see Westfield join the Advisory platform, complementing Ardonagh’s existing presence in the West Sussex region.
Westfield was established in 2009 by managing director Peter Cowan, who will continue to lead the business.
