Chief executive says “timing was right to strengthen’ leadership team

Legal expenses insurance provider Arc Legal has appointed Jason Logan as its new chief operating officer.

A statement announcing the appointment earlier this week (25 April 2023) said the role will see Logan assume responsibility for all internal functions that support the wider business.

This includes finance operations, IT, facilities and human resources.

Logan said he was “excited” to join the business.

He added: “The business has built a formidable reputation for transforming legal expenses insurance, bringing innovation to the customer journey and developing a broad suite of products backed by technical expertise.

“I’m looking forward to being part of the next stage in the business’s journey, using my experience and knowledge to strengthen Arc Legal’s core business functions.”

‘Proven experience’

Prior to joining Arc, Logan was the transformation integration director for Provident Financial Group and Change Director at Arthur J Gallagher.

Arc chief executive Frank O’Malley said that “the time was right to strengthen our leadership team”.

“Jason has proven experience in the successful transformation and growth of other leaders in the insurance market,” he added.

“I’m confident that he’ll bring that focus and dedication to Arc Legal as we continue to cement our position as the go-to legal expenses insurance and ancillary provider in the UK.”
