The appointment ’reflects our ongoing commitment to excellence and the future growth of our space practice’, says leader

Aon has appointed Jared Ball as the new global practice leader of its space division.

Ball will succeed Jeff Poliseno, who has decided to retire after serving as chief executive of the space arm since 2008.

In his new role, Ball will have full oversight of the practice as it looks to deliver differentiated capabilities and strategic insights to aerospace clients.

He was most recently chief technical officer of Aon’s space team, a role he held for seven years.

Lee Meyrick, global industry specialty leader of transportation and logistics at Aon, said: “Ball’s appointment reflects our ongoing commitment to excellence and the future growth of our space practice.

“Poliseno has been closely collaborating with Ball to ensure a seamless transition and continued support for the firm’s space clients and colleagues, so we are confident that under his guidance, the team will continue to meet the evolving needs of our clients.”

Retirement

Poliseno is retiring after a 30-year career in aerospace broking and risk management.

He joined Aon’s global space team in 2004 and helped expand the firm’s offering as chief executive.

Meyrick said: “We are grateful for Poliseno’s visionary leadership and want to thank him for his invaluable contribution and dedication to clients and colleagues over the years.”
