’She has been a tremendous colleague and she will be missed when she leaves the business,’ says insurer
Direct Line Group (DLG) has confirmed that c-suite Vicky Wallis is retiring.
Wallis joined the insurer in 2020 and held the role of chief people officer for the last four years.
She moved to the firm from Santander UK, where she held the role of HR director for five years.
Wallis will be replaced at DLG in early 2025.
A DLG spokesperson said: “A new chief people officer is scheduled to join us in early 2025 following Wallis’ decision to retire.
“Wallis has been a tremendous colleague and she will be missed when she leaves the business.”
Other exit
Wallis is not the only c-suite leaving the insurer, with Ash Jokhoo departing at the end of 2024.
