Allianz UK has strengthened its personal lines retail leadership team with the appointment of Sarah Watts as partnerships director.
Watts, who previously held the role on an interim basis, will be responsible for the overall strategy, growth and product development of Allianz’s UK personnel partnerships business.
The arm manages and develops relationships with intermediaries, affinity partners, banks and building society partners.
Experience
Watts brings more than 25 years’ experience in the personal lines market to the role.

Before joining Allianz, she spent 11 years at Gallagher as an account manager and associate director for business development.
Watts then moved the Legal and General, where she was most recently head of intermediary for general insurance.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
