Insurer says it ’will not give in to threats and criminal behaviour that endanger the safety or security of our people, business and property’
Allianz has said it will be taking independent legal action following Palestine Action’s latest protest against the insurer.
The group targeted the insurer for the fifth time this morning (10 March 2025), with protesters scaling the canopy above the entrance to its office in Gracechurch Street.
Red paint has also been splattered across the building, while Palestinian flags have been hung as well.
Video footage shows police at the scene, with protesters shouting messages from the canopy with megaphones.
Following this protest, Allianz said that while it respected everyone’s right to have and express their opinion, it “will not give in to threats and criminal behaviour that endanger the safety or security of our people, business and property”.
“Our business operations and service to customers and partners have not been affected,” a spokesperson from the insurer said.
“We are working closely with the police and we will also be taking independent legal action to address these threats.”

In January 2025, the group attacked nine of Allianz’s offices across England, Scotland and Wales, with red paint being thrown over buildings and windows being smashed as well.
In February, the group also targeted the insurer’s base in Witan Gate House, Milton Keynes, with pictures posted by the group on social media showing windows smashed and red paint splattered across windows, walls and office chairs.
And yesterday (10 March 2025), protesters flew a drone carrying a Palestinian flag above the Allianz-owned Twickenham Stadium during a Six Nations match.
The protests are against Elbit Systems, with Palestine Action claiming that Allianz is involved in the provision of employers’ liability insurance to the firm.
A spokesperson for Palestine Action said: “As all companies who work with Elbit should know by now, Palestine Action’s direct action campaign against them will not cease until their links with the Israeli weapons trade does. Allianz must drop Elbit.”
