’This location will bring together colleagues from across Allianz UK in a modern hub,’ says chief financial officer
Allianz UK is moving to a new London office due to its current site being set for redevelopment.
The insurer is currently based in 60 Gracechurch Street and has been housed there for over 10 years.
However, the City of London Corporation has approved plans for a 36-storey commercial development at the site.
It comes after applicants Obayashi acquired 60 Gracechurch Street in 2023.
As a result, Allianz UK will relocate its London office to 15 Bishopsgate, with the move set to go ahead in late 2025.
Ulf Lange, chief financial officer at Allianz UK, said: “We can confirm the location of our new London office as 15 Bishopsgate.
“This location will bring together colleagues from across Allianz UK in a modern hub and aligning with our sustainability objectives will be powered by renewable energy, using air source heat pumps.
“This new office better reflects the needs of our people, customers and business and we look forward to the move in late 2025.”
Space acquired
Allianz has signed for all 54,000 sq ft of office space at the new building in Bishopsgate.

Colliers advised the insurer on the move.
Tom Marsden, director of London occupier advisory at Colliers, said: “Allianz were looking for a new home that stood out from their competition, aligned with their sustainability aspirations and still presented exceptional value to replace their current site at 60 Gracechurch Street.
“The market in EC3 is exceptionally tight at present but we were able to identify 15 Bishopsgate as an off market idea and have agreed a bespoke package of works that will deliver against Allianz’ exacting requirements.”
