’He is well known to our broker partners across the mid-market segment,’ says insurer
Allianz Commercial has appointed Graham Stait as the interim managing director for UK mid-market following the departure of Dave Carey.
Carey is leaving the business to join Ecclesiastical, with him taking up the role of managing director for its intermediary business.
Following the news, Allianz told Insurance Times that Stait will succeed Carey for the time being.
A permanent successor will be confirmed at a later date.
“Allianz Commercial will announce a permanent successor in due course and in the meantime looks forward to continuing to offer our usual level of service to all our brokers and bringing them the best of Allianz across the mid-market under Graham’s interim leadership,” an Allianz spokesperson said.
Experience
Stait joined the insurer as a claims graduate in 2008 and has gone onto hold several senior roles, such as head of claims operations.
