Allianz Commercial has appointed Delvin Tillett as the new head of cyber for large corporate business in the UK.
In his new role, Tillett will be responsible for leading the development and execution of cyber risk strategies.
He will be based in the insurer’s London office and report to Sharanjit Chaggar, regional UK head of financial lines.
Chaggar said: “I am delighted to welcome someone with such extensive experience across this area to lead our cyber line of business.”
Experience
Tillett, who takes up the role effective immediately, brings 22 years of London market underwriting experience to the role.

He joins from Munich Re, where he was most recently a senior cyber underwriter.
Before this, he worked at Marsh as the senior vice president for cyber.
Chaggar said: “Tillett has dealt with all elements from underwriting to claims, which brings a unique and invaluable knowledge that will only benefit our customers in this important area of risk.”
His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
