The new appointee will look to help insurers and brokers amid a ’challenging period’ for the industry
Accenture has appointed Carmina Lees as the new head of its insurance practice for the UK and Ireland.
Lees, who has been with the professional services firm since 2017, will be responsible for helping insurers and brokers enhance operations and advance digital initiatives.
Speaking to Insurance Times, Lees said she was ”looking forward to bringing my cross-industry experience to this role to help clients reinvent their businesses with technology and optimise their operations for the future”.
“London is the historical birthplace of the modern insurance industry and we continue to have an exciting and dynamic market to this day,” she added.
“Nonetheless, the industry is facing a challenging period with ongoing disruption in many forms, from inflation to geopolitical instability and climate change.”
Experience
Lees, who brings more than 25 years of experience to the role, was most recently the managing director for financial services at Accenture.
