Alan Boswell Group (ABG) has made its second acquisition of 2024 with the purchase Priory Insurance Brokers.
The acquired firm is a Norfolk-based commercial and personal lines insurance broker that was established in 1973.
The Wymondham-based business will continue to trade as Priory Insurance Brokers for the foreseeable future.
The company’s staff and premises will also be retained.
’Extensive resources’
This deals follows ABG’s purchase of The Insurance Centre, a Norwich-based broker, earlier this year (April 2024).

Mark Whitmore, managing director at Priory Insurance Brokers, said his firm was ”excited to join ABG and continue delivering the same level of care and dedication our clients expect”.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
