Liberty Syndicates chief operating officer Mark Butterworth will leave the company to join start-up managing agency Pembroke as managing director.

Marsh hunts for Storms replacement

Marsh is searching for a successor to global chief executive Brian Storms, who resigned suddenly this week after less than two years at the helm of the company. A spokesman for Marsh said that Storms departure centred on the financial performance of the company.

Meacock signs up for Lloyd’s China

Managing agent SA Meacock became the eleventh member of Lloyd’s China, the new reinsurance operation run by Lloyd’s.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
