Personal lines network close to 50 members
Personal lines broker network, 1 Answer Network, has renewed its partnership with RSA.
Managing director Paul Muir said: “At a time when some insurers are reported to be questioning the value networks offer and in some cases pulling out altogether, this is a clear endorsement of the strength of our proposition and the quality of business written by our brokers.”
1 Answer Network said it is poised to sign its 50th member in the coming months. It has been working with high street brokers specialising in personal lines for the last three years.
Muir added: “Insurers are realising that quality is as important as volume, that building relationships and client loyalty can underpin underwriting profits and that personal cover has an important place in a market that perhaps has become overly focused on commercial cover, and some of the larger insurers are actively looking to re-establish the local / community broker part of their business portfolio.
“High street brokers who have access to the right products and infrastructure are in a strong position to deliver on all three. And just as importantly, we act as the insurers ‘eyes and ears’ in the market, not only promoting their brand and products but reporting back on the impact of their initiatives through constant contact with our members."
He continued: “We are delighted RSA has chosen to renew its relationship and fully expect our other partners to follow suit as we continue to meet and exceed their targets for business growth.
“Insurers are naturally questioning the value they are getting from networks, but it is equally true that networks that are working hard for insurers and successfully delivering on their promises are going to continue to help drive their future growth.”
