A group of regional contractors has combined forces to launch a new national building repair service, UK Repairline.
The partnership of Improveline, in London, The Building Maintenance Company, based in Newcastle, and Dale Building Maintenance, in South Wales, will offer national coverage to small and medium sized insurers.
Improveline chief executive Marshall King said: "Several of the top UK insurers have moved towards using a panel of regional contractors to provide a managed repair service.
"By setting up this joint venture, UK Repairline, we effectively bring this solution within reach of the insurers who don't have the resources or desire to build and manage their own regional contractor network."
The three companies have a combined turnover approaching £50m and carry out property repairs across the UK with more than 450 fully employed tradesmen.
