Trott’s appointment will enable Russell Atkinson to focus on his role as chief executive of the NAHL group
Ex-Towergate director Simon Trott has been appointed as managing director of personal injury claims management company National Accident Helpline (NAH), a subsidiary of parent company NAHL Group.
Trott’s most recent role as RK Harrison (RKH) director of specialist markets saw him set up an SME call centre in Peterborough.
He left RKH in July, following the closure of the call centre, four months after it was launched.
Prior to that Trott was chief executive of Towergate’s sales and services division before resigning from the broker in September 2013.
NAH is part of NAHL Group, whose other two subsidiaries include Fitzalan and Bush and Company.
Trott’s appointment will enable Russell Atkinson to focus more on his role as chief executive of the group.
Back in July NAH recently launched a campaign with seven personal injury law firms to stamp out nuisance marketing.
Firms signing up to the Ethical Marketing Charter said they stand against nuisance marketing, the unethical buying and selling of accident data and misleading advertising.
The initiative comes against a background of widespread concern about nuisance calls and texting, and the government’s announcement of a “fundamental review” of claims management companies (CMC).
