AIG and e-systems have launched a private motor rating and administration system that can issue client documentation at point of sale.
The internet system called e-Insure is claimed to provide AIG with more control over product rating.
E-systems managing director Eric Craig said: "E-Insure helps intermediaries to avoid the administration burden of paper based cover notes and financial controls."
Other features include a management information and motor insurance database.
AIG business development manager Ernesto Suarez said: "The e-Insure solution enhances our rating capability and allows us online access to comprehensive risk information.
"This makes it easier for us to monitor and distribute products to specialist intermediaries."
