Dave Smart leaves Marsh after eight years in legacy HSBC role
The former head of HSBC motor broking has quit Marsh to join Heath Lambert.
Dave Smart, who joined Marsh when it acquired the bank-owned business at the end of last year, is currently on gardening leave. He was head of HSBC’s motor division for eight years.
Heath Lambert managing director of products and markets Graham Barr said it was pleased to recruit “someone of Dave’s experience and calibre”.
A Marsh spokesman said: “The acquisition of HSBC Insurance Brokers enhances Marsh’s motor fleet offering. We look forward to growing our market-leading position.”
