Moorhouse Group and Aon Warranty Group (AWG) have launched a professional indemnity product for the motor dealer industry in the UK.
Moorhouse said this was the first PI product on offer for motor traders.
The PI product is now available to any motor dealer throughout the UK, having been offered to selected dealerships in March 2004.
AWG underwriting director Ed Proctor, said: “This product is the first to specifically address the motor dealer industry and we had good take up during the pilot phase.
“We are pleased that phase two allowing the whole motor dealer sector easy access to quotations has come on stream so quickly after the original launch.
“The product is competitively priced and is supported by the highest quality legal and motor industry experts.
AWG product development manager Mike George, said: “I am delighted this product is now fully rolled out. AWG already offer bespoke consultancy to dealers, dealer groups and manufacturers on compliance and regulation issues.
“In addition we have an award winning web based total compliance and training tool that assists the dealer in budgeting for, delivering and maintaining a fully compliant and focused insurance product distribution platform.
“Our PI solution is now fully integrated into this tool, allowing a “one stop” solution to incoming regulatory challenges.
