Monument UK has been appointed broker for SRS Underwriting Agency (SRS UA) in Australia, part of SRS Insurance Group.
The account has a current premium income capacity of approximately A$60m via a number of facilities, said Monument.
SRS UA achieved Lloyd's coverholder status in 1994. Monument said since then the business has grown significantly.
Monument UK executive chairman Andrew Moulton, said: “Winning the SRS Underwriting Agency account is a great achievement for Monument UK and Bruce Copp, the account director.
“We have already identified opportunities for diversification and expansion of the SRS products via our ongoing Lloyd's relationships - in fact our first additional facility for SRS is already up and running.
“We are proud to have a number of highly valued contracts including a mix of Primary Group underwriting distribution businesses and independent third party customers.
“The addition of SRS UA further defines and enhances the balance within our portfolio.”
