Paul Hodgson promoted from head of commercial underwriting
MMA Insurance has appointed Paul Hodgson as director of commercial underwriting, with immediate effect.
Hodgson was previously head of commercial underwriting at MMA, and will report to Colin Batabyal, underwriting director at MMA.
Hodgson said: "My job is to demonstrate our commitment to growing our commercial lines book and to ensure that growth is profitable. We've spent two years establishing a regional network of strong, flexible underwriting teams around the country and now we’re really seeing the benefits."
Garry Fearn, chief executive of MMA, said: "Paul's contribution over the last four years has been critical to the success we have enjoyed and he will play a key role in our future plans."
