MGA agrees software deal

Oliva Underwriting Management has formed a new partnership with insurance software solutions provider Total Objects.

Paul Bennett, director, property and casualty at Oliva, said: "When we were reviewing the market for technology solutions to support our business, Total Objects were the clear favorites. They’ve got the domain expertise in insurance to really understand the market and the requirements of managing agents.

"In addition, they took the time to understand our challenges and what we were trying to achieve – and then devoted the time to developing the solution to meet our requirements. The combination of the technology solution and the strong relationship we’ve built with the team at Total Objects has been a really powerful one.

"We’re using it as a cradle-to-grave system, from everything from issuing policies to producing IBAs. We’re also adding a web-based front end so selected brokers from our portfolio can use the system as well.”
