Suffolk-based livestock and bloodstock broker LRMS Insurance Services Ltd, has been bought out by its management.

The move follows the decision of majority shareholder Emma Stamper to sell LRMS in order to concentrate on expanding her Crowe Livestock underwriting agency.

Anja Rupert, who has been running the company for the past five years, has become majority owner of the Bury St Edmunds company, with immediate effect.

Commenting on the MBO, Stamper said: “LRMS is a great niche business that has steadily grown under Anja's management. Selling to its management will enable me to concentrate on working with brokers to capitalise on the opportunities that have been presented to Crowe Livestock since we opened our second office in Antwerp.”
