Martina Baugh, Tracey Felton and Peter Lewis join London practice.
Marsh has announced several appointments in its Renewable Energy Practice in London.
Martina Baugh has been appointed leader of the Renewable Energy Practice for the UK. Baugh has worked at Marsh for over two years in various client engagement and delivery roles within the UK Energy Practice. She will work closely with Bruce Grant, who continues in his role as Leader of the Offshore Wind sector.
Tracey Felton and Peter Lewis join the team as Account Executives, responsible for service delivery to the team’s existing renewable energy portfolio and new client base. Ms Felton joins from within Marsh’s Energy Practice, and Mr Lewis joins from the firm’s Graduate Training Scheme, where he spent eight months with the Energy team.
They join team members Paul Talbot, who specialises in risk engineering; Tracey Hunt, who is responsible for contract and client liaison; and John Garwood and Gary Walkling, who handle claims.
Commenting on the appointments, Baugh said: “As global demand for renewable energy grows, the risks facing renewable energy companies are becoming more complex in this technologically diverse and dynamic sector. The new members of the team will build on Marsh's position as risk adviser to the global renewables industry, offering advice and innovative solutions on all aspects of the renewable risk profile.”
Earlier this week Marsh also announced the appointments of Shirley Sutcliffe from Aon and Iain Brown from Abbott & Bramwell to its National Marine Broking Centre (NMBC), based in Manchester.
Marsh said it has spent the last decade assessing risk issues and providing related solutions for clients involved in onshore and offshore wind projects, ethanol and biodiesel plants, solar energy projects, hydro-electric power generation, wave, tidal and other renewable energy operations.
