Chris Houton joins from Zurich
Marsh has appointed Chris Houston as a senior consultant in its property risk consulting team.
Houston will be based in London and will provide property risk consulting services to clients in the London area and south of England.
He joined Marsh from Zurich Risk Services, where he was a team leader with responsibility for 12 risk specialists in the high-value, high-profile buildings sector.
During his five years at Zurich, Houston provided property risk management and anti-terrorism advice to both public and private sector clients in respect of their property portfolios. He has also worked in the entertainments and leisure industry.
Hugh Forster, leader of property risk consulting for the southern zone at Marsh, said: “Chris has a unique understanding of property loss control and risk, given his experience with large publicly-listed companies and in the leisure sector. His skills will be particularly useful in managing and delivering innovative risk services to our clients.”
