Marsh has confirmed the acquisition of Manchester-based commercial broker Rochester Kemp, as reported by Insurance Times on 20 May.
Rochester Kemp specialises in casualty business and commercial schemes for SMEs and contractors.
The move is part of Marsh's regional broker acquisition drive.
John Nicholson, managing director of UK regional operations of Marsh's corporate client practice and managing director of Marsh's trade credit practice, said: “The addition of Rochester Kemp's broking and consulting business builds on Marsh's existing middle-market operations in Manchester.
“It also gives clients access to the wide array of enhanced risk and insurance solutions available from Marsh.”
