Global insurance broker and risk adviser Marsh, a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies (MMC), has appointed Jeremy Cooke as vice chairman of global placement.
Cooke will focus on critical growth areas including complex market negotiations on facilities, quota shares and key accounts.
He was previously Marsh international division head of placement and has held senior executive positions at insurers in the US and London.
Cooke also has experience as National Association of Professional Surplus Lines Offices (NAPSLO) president and has served as vice chairman of London & International Insurance Brokers Association (LIIBA).
Marsh global head of industry specialities and placement Dean Klisura said: “With his extensive knowledge and experience, Jeremy is well-placed to bring further innovation to the already broad range of placement capabilities we deliver to our clients.”
