LV= Broker unveils new personal lines boss

LV= Broker has promoted Michael Lawrence to the new role of personal lines director.

Lawrence, previously sales director for LV= Broker’s personal lines business, will start the role with immediate effect. It was previously covered by LV= Broker’s managing director, Phil Bunker, right.

Lawrence will be responsible for delivering the overall sales and underwriting strategy of all LV= Broker’s personal lines business, reporting to Bunker.

Lawrence said: “I am delighted to have been appointed personal lines director for LV= Broker. Our top priorities will be to drive profit and growth by expanding the business both in terms of products and distribution.

"The current market offers us some great opportunities and we must capitalise on them. We have a great team here at LV= Broker and a growing business. I’ll be looking at strengthening the team by recruiting for the new role of head of personal lines sales. The future looks very exciting.”

Bunker added: “Michael has been a great asset to the business since he joined us via the Highway acquisition. I have been caretaking the personal lines role but now as the business has grown and become more complex, we need someone who can devote themselves to the role full time.

"This in turn will enable me to concentrate of the overall future strategy of LV= Broker. Michael has excellent knowledge of the personal lines market and I am confident he will be a great leader for this part of the business.”
