Insurer LV extends deal with IT firm
IT services company Atos Origin has signed a four-year contract extension with LV.
Under the new deal which extends a contract signed in 2008, Atos Origin will continue to provide IT services to support LV’s policy administration and renewals processes as well as on-line applications.
Richard Rowney, group chief operating officer at LV said: “Atos Origin has delivered an excellent service since 2008 to support the growth and transformation of our business. For this new deal, Atos Origin presented a competitively priced solution that will meet our business needs as we further strengthen our organisation while continuing to help our customers protect the things they love.”
Bryn Barlow, vice president for financial services at Atos Origin UK, said: “We are delighted to have signed this contract extension which further extends our relationship with LV= and consolidates our position in the mutual insurance sector. We will work with LV= to ensure that technology continues to enable further business growth and high quality services for their customers.”
