UK offshoot of Vericlaim in the pipeline for staff
Question marks hung over the future of loss-adjusting firm Teceris this week, amid widespread market speculation that parent Capita would pull the plug on the firm.
Capita refused to comment, but an announcement is expected to be made at the end of the month.
This comes as global business director and former president of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters, George Moss, is expected to leave the firm later this month.
In August, Capita announced it was axing up to six staff, saying at the time that “current market conditions” were forcing it to make redundancies.
Some of those staff are thought to be interested in starting a UK offshoot of US loss-adjusting giant Vericlaim, which operates on a franchise model and is interested in establishing a London presence.
