Lockton strengthens affinity team

Lockton International has appointed David Hamer, Marta Dalton, and Sharon Ridgewell within its Affinity division as a result of its growth in the UK market.

David Hamer joins the sales team, along with Marta Dalton, where their main roles include contributing to the growth and direction of Lockton Affinity by winning new programmes and overseeing the overall retention and development of Affinity clients.

Hamer joins from Prestige Underwriting Services with over 30 years experience working in various roles in the general insurance market for both brokers and insurers.

Marta Dalton has been with Lockton since May 2006. Preceding her appointment to the sales team, Marta managed the change of the small business segment as project manager. Prior to joining Lockton, Marta worked as a broker specialising in international casualty placements and global property programs at Marsh, USA.

Sharon Ridgewell joins Lockton Affinity, as a claims specialist, from Giles Insurance Brokers. With over 22 years experience in the industry, Sharon will be responsible for managing claims for Affinity clients and reviewing claims solutions. Prior to working at Giles Insurance Brokers, Sharon worked at Marsh.
