Ellis Cowes and Company Limited makes Tim Nagle managing director
Racing specialist broker Ellis Clowes & Company Limited has appointed former F1 driver Mark Blundell as non-executive director.
Karen Ellis will move from managing director to chief executive, and Tim Nagle will take the MD role.
Ellis said, “We set up the Lloyd’s Broker in November 2010 and followed this in September 2011 with the opening of a second office in Banbury to service our commercial business. To continue the momentum I will take a more strategic position and oversee both businesses along with continuing my focus on key clients.
“I am delighted to have such a capable MD in Tim Nagle to manage the Lloyd’s business.
“It is also great news that Mark Blundell has agreed to join us. I have known Mark from his early days in racing and throughout his career both on and off the track; I believe his business skills will, without doubt, be an asset to our firm.”
Ellis Clowes is also a specialist broker for war and terrorism, commercial combined and rugby union.
Ellis Clowes & Company Limited operates from two offices.
One in the heart of the City of London, Great St Helen’s immediately adjacent to the Lloyd’s of London Building, and since October 2011 an office in the market town of Banbury in the heartland of the British motor sport community.
