Lloyd's broker PYV Ltd said it has expanded its wholesale professional indemnity broking operations for brokers throughout the UK.
Group development director Nick Pointon said recent changes in the wholesale market had prompted the expansion of PYV's wholesale team.
Pointon said: “We are particularly keen to talk to those brokers who want to retain their current business model, and are dissatisfied with the mediocre service available from their current wholesale provider or have been cut out of the loop by their current wholesale insurance broker.
“We are large enough to command access to markets at terms not available elsewhere. Yet we are small enough to provide a personal and professional service,” he concluded.
PYV said it had a range of solutions to suit different professions. It said it could work either as a referred supplier for specific customer segments, or as a joint venture partner for all professional indemnity needs.
