Shepherd Compello wants to expand into marine cargo, high net-worth and commercial property
EPG Insurance Services has rebranded to Shepherd Compello and made new hires as it plots to expand into new markets.
The broker specialises in physical damage insurance, motor truck cargo and extended warranty and GAP.
It now wants to expand into marine cargo, catastrophe exposed commercial property and high net-worth.
Shepherd Compello said it continued to have access to a wide variety of Lloyd’s insurers.
The newly expanded team will consist of director Chris Hatt, who will specialise in high value homeowners insurance and catastrophe exposed commercial property.
Scott Newis will also join the team as transportation underwriter, specialising in marine cargo, physical damage and motor truck cargo.
Both Hatt and Newis have joined Shepherd Compello from Decus Insurance Brokers.
The administration arm of EPG will continue to operate independently of the new broker.
