Lambeth Building Society has appointed Legal & General as its sole supplier of household and accident, sickness and unemployment insurance.
The company had previously had a contract splitting the business between Norwich Union and Legal & General.
A spokesman for Lambeth Building Society said the decision to switch to a sole insurer had been partially prompted by forthcoming FSA regulation.
The contract involves approximately £400,000 in new premiums each year, as well as an existing book of £1m in household premiums.
The building society was already tied to Legal & General for life protection and investment products and was a member of its Mortgage Club.
