Ratings agency AM Best has affirmed the financial strength rating of Legal & General Assurance Society (L&G) as A++ (superior).
At the same time, AM Best said it had affirmed L&G’s insurer credit rating of aa-, the senior debt issues and the financial strength rating of the core subsidiaries of the L&G group.
The outlook for all ratings remains negative, it said.
