Motor insurer to open new office in the New Year.
KGM Motor Insurance has announced that it will be opening a dedicated claims centre in Chelmsford in the New Year.
Colin Hart, active underwriter, said: “Claims represents the shop window for any insurer. We made great strides taking our service forward with the appointment of the Innovation Group as our preferred supplier of outsourced claims services earlier in the year and bringing in Garry Gorman as claims manager.
"This is the next stage in delivering further improvements in not only the efficiency of our claims service but also the approachability of our claims team. We’ve been known in the past more for giving our brokers easy access to our underwriters, and now we’re looking to offer the same access to our claims team.
KGM is holding a recruitment open day at the County Hotel in Chelmsford on November 26. The company said it isis looking for individuals with motor insurance experience to fill a variety of roles including claims negotiators, management and administration.
Hart added: “Chelmsford has good transport links and a strong pool of local talent, and I am confident that we will build a team of high calibre people to manage this new centre for our claims operations."
